One computer game that many game enthusiasts like is computer cribbage. Computer cribbage is a card game with a deck of 52 cards. Its playing rules are basically the same with the traditional cribbage. Although the traditional cribbage has many variations, the rules are almost the same. Cribbage was created by the Englishman, Sir John Suckling. Suckling was a playwright, poet, traveler and a known expert in cards. Although there are different versions on how Sucking invented the game, what is highlighted is his contribution to make the game popular. To play the traditional cribbage, the players will need the playing card and the scoring device known as cribbage board. The board has four rows and game holes. Each row consists of 30 holes. Each player will have two pegs. The game is played by a minimum of two players. The game starts after the start card is drawn. The players will deal six cards and will only choose four cards to keep, and the two cards will be discarded to the crib. 10 points will be given to each queen, king, jack and ten cards. The ace is given a score of 1, while all the other cards are scored based on their actual numbers. The object of each game is to score a total of 31. A player will place one peg for putting down the last card in the series. The player can place two pegs if he or she adds a card that makes a total of 31. The first person to get 121 points is the game winner. In the computer cribbage, you are playing the computer as your opponent. The components of the computer cribbage include the cribbage board, the computer's (your opponent) hand, the human player's hand, the deck and cards in play. One side of the board is used by the computer, while the other side (commonly the right side) is for the human player. Most of the game, your opponent's (the computer) cards are face down while the human player's cards are face up. To select a card, simply click it and it will be raised a little bit. You can deal the card by clicking on the "play card" action button. During the game, the start card in the deck is visible. To deal, simply click on the deck. After your discard for the crib, you can click on the card deck for the starting card. Meanwhile, the cards in play will be displayed in the order that they are being played. Plain Printer Paper |
